REGARDING the story headlined ‘Ribble Valley energy show home to be open to the public’, about a house promoting the benefits of saving energy, I think Ribble Valley is the place to have this house.
That’s because having read the posts in Lancashire Telegraph, thousands and thousands of new homes are to be built there in the next 15 years or so.
It will be a boom time for Clitheroe, which is not far away, with the population in Ribble Valley to swell by around 10,000.
That means the retailers there are in for a bonanza, as these new residents will all have to buy their stuff somewhere.
But I hope the Ribble Valley won’t be changed too much.
