REGARDING ‘Free bus travel for East Lancashire jobless is just the ticket’ (LT, January 14), why shouldn’t they get help to go to interviews?
It costs more on bus fairs than taxis do these days. If it helps the jobless to get a job, go for it, I think it’s a brilliant idea.
There are more decent people out there who would give anything to be back in work.
People need to stop judging them, because one day you might be in their shoes.
