So often today our lives are so full of complaints and grumbles that it is indeed a real pleasure to bring to your attention the other side of the coin.
On Wednesday, November 21, myself and a group of friends hired a coach to travel from our homes in Southport to see a concert at King George’s Hall, Blackburn.
Their were four acts on display, and each and every one of them could have graced the London Palladium. It was a truly superb show and our thanks and appreciation go to Blackburn Council. All this for the princely sum of £2.50.
How I wish that our Southport council could provide us with something similiar.
The folks in Blackburn are really lucky to have such a brilliant concert available for them on a monthly basis.
