A CHURCH group in Rishton will host a musical Christmas event after an annual radio show was cancelled.
BBC Radio Lancashire’s programme, ‘Lancashire Sings Christmas’, will not be produced this year.
Community groups across the county enjoyed meeting every year to sing along to the broadcast.
Rishton Churches Together will host their own event at the Roebuck Inn, between 7 and 8pm on Thursday, December 19.
Local councillor, Ken Moss, volunteered to organise the music, a microphone, and carols.
