A FUNDRAISING page has been set up to support the two daughters of a man fatally shot on a doorstep.
The page has been set up by the sister of 32-year-old Lee Holt, who died after being shot in the chest outside a house in Oswaldtwistle.
And his sister Laura Holt has set up the go-fund-me page to support his daughter's Alecia, 12, and Kiera-Leigh, eight.
On Sunday afternoon £180 had been raised of the pages £500 target.
On the page titles 'To help with Lee Holt's daughters', Laura wrote: "Lee Holt's life was brutally taken on October 25, 2017, after a horrific murder
"Lee leaves behind his two devastated children, Alecia, aged 12, and Kiera, aged eight, after being shot in the chest by a firearm.
"Lee's children were his life and he will be truly missed."
Police were called to a house in Barnard Close, Oswaldtwistle at 8.25pm on Wednesday to reports a man had been shot in the chest following an altercation on the doorstep of a property.
He was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital where he later died of a single gun shot wound to the chest.
Police later named him as Mr Holt, who lived in Accrington.
A 14-year-old-boy from Oswaldtwistle, who has not been named, was arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of murder. He has been released on bail until November 22.
On Thursday evening a 49-year-old Oswaldtwistle man was also arrested on suspicion of murder. He was released on Saturday but has been re-arrested today on suspicion of murder. He is in police custody this evening.
Police patrols in the area were set up as a result of the fatal shooting.
Detectives have also confirmed a gun, which is believed to be the murder weapon, was recovered at the scene.
