A PUB in Oswaldtwistle has taken the ‘brilliant step’ of installing lifesaving equipment outside its premises.
Tricky’s in Thwaites Road has had a defibrillator donated by a customer.
The pub then held a raffle to fundraise the £500 needed to pay for the case to store it in.
Owner Richard Hilliard said: “It's a brilliant piece of equipment to have, it could end up saving somebody’s life.
“It’s great that one of our customers has done this.
“We think we’re the first pub in Oswaldtwistle to get one, you’re starting to see more and more across Hyndburn.
“It just so easy to use it, more people in the area need to get this sort of equipment.”
