A 16-YEAR-OLD driver car crashed into a wall in Oswaldtwistle following a police pursuit this morning.
The incident happened around 1.30am in Blackburn Road when two officers spotted a Hyundai Coupe travelling in the opposite direction at high speed.
Police followed the vehicle which accelerated at speed on a 30mph section of the road before crashing into a brick wall in Church.

The front seat passenger, a 16-year-old boy from Blackburn, was taken to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital with a leg injury.
The driver and back seat passenger, also aged 16 from Blackburn, suffered less serious injuries but were also taken to hospital to be treated.
Two crews from Hyndburn fire station attended the crash and they assisted paramedics and police giving first aid before those involved went to the hospital.
A spokesman for the fire service said that the three involved suffered various different injuries which required hospital treatment, but that they were not life threatening.
