Plans have been submitted to change the use of a hotel into living units.
Bosses at the Maple Lodge, on Blackburn Road, Clayton le Moors, want to create new living facilities in the hotel.
The existing hotel provides eight en suite guest bedrooms with associated living and dining areas set out over three floors.
The proposed change of use would provide six en suite bedrooms at lower ground and first floor levels and two self-contained units at lower ground floor level.
The proposal also allows for onsite staff accommodation and communal living areas.
The building's exterior would not be altered to accommodate the change of use.
