CHILDREN donned their eye patches and wooden legs for a production of Pirates of the Curry Bean.
The budding actors from All Saints C E School in Clayton-le-Moors have put on two dress rehearsals for the rest of the school and two performances for packed houses of parents.
They picked this swashbuckling tale as it fits in with the work that Year 6 have been doing.
And such was the impact on the reception class, they produced messages in a bottle with great feedback for the actors.
