A CRACKDOWN on anti-social behaviour is to take place over the next few weeks.
Police in Altham said they had seen a rise in nuisance and anti-social behaviour problems in the area over the last few weeks.
The neighbourhood policing team is set to step up patrols in affected areas.
Complaints from residents have identified issues in the Earl Street and Duke Street area.
Residents said they had seen a rise in anti-social behaviour and damage taking place, most often on weekday nights and at weekends.
