A TEENAGER whose cat was killed by a neighbour’s dog went to have it out with him after she had been drinking.

Blackburn magistrates heard Lacey Johnstone was banging on her neighbour’s door at 2.45am swearing and shouting, and eventually kicked it so hard a panel split.

Johnstone, 19, of Devonshire Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to criminal damage. She was given a conditional discharge for six months and ordered to pay £150 compensation, £150 criminal court charge, £85 costs, and £15 victim surcharge.

Paul Huxley, defending, said it was unfortunate Johnstone decided to speak about the earlier incident after she had been drinking.
