A CHARITY fashion evening is to be staged in memory of Oswaldtwistle schoolgirl Megan Lee.

Hillock Vale, home to Nu2Yu dress agency and Mrs B’s Tea Room, will be raising funds for the Anaphylaxis Campaign.

The event, which has the support of Megan’s family, will take place on Thursday, April 13, at the Hillock Vale outlet in Burnley Road, Accrington, from 6.45pm.

The St Christopher’s CE High School student died last year after having an allergic reaction when she ate a takeaway meal.

Organiser Angela Devlin said: “The events of the last three months have touched many people across the town.

“We wanted to show our support and help raise awareness to the vital work of the campaign while contributing to the legacy that has been left by Megan, showing our support for her family.

“Local businesses have been very generous for the evening, donating a range of amazing prizes for the evening, including beauty, hair and nail experiences, meal vouchers, and food and drink hampers.”

Tickets are available priced at £3.
