TWO charities want to hear local views as they combine forces to win Lottery funding for a food project in Hyndburn.
Prospects Foundation, an environmental charity in the borough, and Adventure Hyndburn want to speak to people in the area about food growing, better awareness and availability of food.
They are aiming to create a new project to help ‘transform the area’s approach to food'.
Sarah Beattie, of Adventure Hyndburn, said: “We have seen so many people benefit from our food growing sessions.
“But we want now to hear what people want and how to excite young and old about food and tackle some key health issues in the area.”
A funding bid is expected to be submitted to the Lottery soon.
If anyone want to join the initiative contact Sarah Beattie on 07715416709 or Mike Stapleford on 01254 230348.
