THE mayor of Hyndburn’s time in office is coming to an end.
Coun Judith Addison will give up her duties on May 24.
Since taking office, on April 1 last year, she has carried out around 290 mayoral engagements — an average of six a week.
She also works with several outside groups, including the Eagle Street Senior Citizens’ Centre and the Homeless in Hyndburn Group.
The Conservative councillor for the Immanuel ward keeps an online diary on Facebook, where she goes into detail about her engagements, and issues within the community.
