THE problems with cancelled and delayed trains run by Northern have been raised on national radio.
They featured on Talk Radio's Independent Republic of Mike Graham morning show on Wednesday.
In a half-hour slot, the host accused the company of making 'a complete and utter hash'.
Guest Bill Jacobs, the politics correspondent of the Lancashire Telegraph, told how Northern customers were fed up with not knowing if their trains would run or arrive on time.
He described the situation as 'absolutely dreadful' and many passenger felt the current sytem for running the railways was 'broken'.
Mr Graham said there seemed to be growing thirst for renationalising the railways.
Hos co-host Katy Perrior, a former Downing Street adviser to Theresa May said the Northern Rail chaos was damaging the Conservative's reputation for competent government.,
