TRAFFIC was at a standstill as cows took over the A675 Belmont Road between Belmont and Bolton.
The person who filmed the footage said that there was no farmer in sight. It was just near the Bleachworks on Belmont Road.
He said: "It was just down from San Marino on Belmont Road.
"It was about 7.10am. The herd was unaccompanied, most cows were using the pavement with an odd one or two criss-crossing the road holding up traffic for a few minutes. It was quite funny."
