A LEGENDS of Darts evening is to be held to fundraise for a man who was injured after falling off some scaffolding.
Dave Place was airlifted to hospital after the accident earlier this month when he and a colleague fell from a two-storey structure in Higher Ramsgreave Road, Blackburn.
He has been unable to work since.
Players including Tony O'Shea, Darryl Fitton, Wez Newton and three times ladies' world champion Lisa Ashton will be at the event at the Clifton Arms in Grimshaw Park, Blackburn.
People will get the chance to meet and play with them and there will also be a BBQ, raffle and auctions.
Tickets cost £5. It will take place on Tuesday, October 3 from 7.30pm.
