A SCHOOL has re-opened applications for a new headteacher for a third time.
Darwen Aldridge Community Academy in Sudell Road is now accepting applications for the post until Wednesday, April 19.
The candidate selected will be required from September and the salary ranges between £80,000 and £100,000.
The school has already opened up the process twice since former headteacher Brendan Loughran was promoted to executive principal of the four Aldridge schools in the town in December.
These also include Sudell Primary School, Darwen Vale High School and Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio as well as DACA.
David Cane has been acting as interim head since Mr Loughran’s promotion and will continue to do so until the position is filled.
