A MAN was rescued from scaffolding yesterday in Edgworth after injuring himself.
Firefighters from Darwen, Hyndburn, Chorley and Greater Manchester rescued the man at around 10.20am from St Anne's Church after he had dislocated his shoulder.
Crews used rope rescue techniques to bring him safely down to the ambulance.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injury.
