Camelot says thanks with Chorley Day

Camelot Theme Park opened its gates to Chorley residents on Saturday.

The popular Charnock Richard attraction hosted a Chorley Day to thank local residents for their support over the last 25 years.

Despite the inclement weather, hundreds of people went along and enjoyed the rides with ticket prices reduced to half price.

To make the day even more worthwhile and special, part of the ticket proceeds went to Galloway’s Society for the Blind.

The emergency services, armed forces and community groups also attended and helped to give Chorley a day to remember.
