A chef who has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the culinary world has taken over the kitchen at an Euxton pub.

Former Heathcotes head chef Thomas Lowe, who has shared a kitchen with the likes of Raymond Blanc, Brian Turner and Albert Roux, has taken over at The Railway gastro pub in Wigan Road, Euxton.

He started his career at The Carlton Club in London but moved to Lancashire 11 years ago, and has worked in the Wrightington in Wigan and various restaurants in Preston.
