EIGHT men and one woman are to appear in court charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis after a series of raids in Blackburn.
Abbas Aziz, 26, of Audley Range, Blackburn, Adil Patel, 26, of Wensley Road, Blackburn, Suhail Mehboob Patel, 26, of Accrington Road, Blackburn, Emma Lee, 32, of Maudsley Street, Accrington, Naeem Mohamed, 19, of Halliwell Road, Bolton, Tayab Rehman, 22, of St James’s Road, Blackburn, Safvan Sachin Patel, 26, of East Park Road, Blackburn, Babar Khan, 23, of Elm Street, Blackburn and Mohammed Hassan, 21, of Cherry Street, Blackburn, will all appear before Blackburn Magistrates charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis on November 2.
More than 60 officers from across the force including detectives, operational support units, police dogs and neighbourhood policing teams raided several addresses on Tuesday as part of a crackdown into the alleged supply of cannabis in the Blackburn area.
