CoolKit has demonstrated its commitment to providing the best refrigerated van conversions on the market, after exhibiting at the International Food and Drink Event.

This is the fourth time the Burnley company has exhibited at the biennial event, held this year at ExCeL in London.

Loredana Emmerson, Marketing Manager, said: “We were the only fridge van conversion manufacturer exhibiting; showcasing our commitment to the industry and our passion to remain the market-leaders.

“It is important for us to stay up-to-date with industry trends, maintaining and developing further our privileged position as the market leaders in the food and drink sector. We had numerous comments from visitors regarding the evident superior quality of our conversions and it was great to speak to prospects face-to-face and really understand their business and their requirements.”

CoolKit exhibited a Mercedes Sprinter MWB refrigerated vehicle, converted for dual-temperature use, with frozen to the front and chill at the rear, achieved with a movable/removable bulkhead to provide customers with full flexibility of the space required.

The van also showcased some optional accessories including gritted flooring, pallet protection, Safe-T bar rear step, strip curtains, side slab door and a temperature recording device.

CoolKit also exhibited the new Citroen Dispatch model, converted with a 50mm insulated lining kit for chiller temperature of 0°C to 8°C. The vehicle showcased reinforced resin floor, hygienic GRP interior surface and aluminium floor edge tread plates, all standard features within our fridge van conversions.

CoolKit will next be exhibiting at the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham 25-27 April, when they will be unveiling a new product – their refrigerated box van. They will be in the Cool Zone on stand 3E130.
