On the 24th June, Lance Mason Solicitors deployed 17 troops to take on the 5km Race for Life in Witton Park, Blackburn, hosted by Cancer Research in the war against cancer.

Despite questionable weather conditions and certain members fasting for Ramadan, the Lance Mason Ladies powered through and reached their goal by completing the course in times varying from 29 to 45 minutes, raising over £2000 in the process, with the hope of one day, beating cancer.

Plenty of support was provided around the course and at the finish line by the public and other Lance Mason members who came along to cheer on their squad. The business regularly takes part in charitable events and is committed to giving something back to the community as it continues to grow in Blackburn.

Practice Manager, Emma Wilkinson said, "Our dedicated charity committee have done a great job of forming the Lance Mason Ladies to take part in this wonderful event. The atmosphere was fantastic around the park and the support of the crowds really helped us all pull through. There was great team spirit and we’re absolutely thrilled to have raised such a substantial amount of money for what we all know is a very worthy cause."
