BLACKBURN’S Shopmobility service has opened in the town’s market.
Bosses of the service said that they estimate they could now reach hundreds of extra people who could take advantage of the facility.
The voluntary organisation offers mobility scooters, power chairs and wheelchairs, on loan, to the disabled and infirm who wish to visit the town centre.
Bob Simpson, along with other volunteers, runs the service.

Open 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
