THE design company behind the National Festival of Making is hoping to scoop a Hive Business Award.
Source Creative, which has been 'integral' in the marketing of the festival, is in the final four for the Creative and Digital Award.
The Blackburn firm, founded by a husband and wife team some 15 years ago, has built a reputation for unique, smart designs.
Stephen Caton, creative director at the Mill Lane company, said: "We are a small multi-skilled design studio that has a real family feel - there is myself and my wife and then two brothers who work for us.
"We do branding, logo design, print design, packaging design, illustration and photography on top of many other things."
Mr Caton said the team's proudest achievement to date has been their work on the National Festival of Making taking place this weekend in Blackburn town centre.
The first national celebration of its kind, the free family festival promises visitors inspiring opportunities to try things they’ve never tried before in a wide range of workshops and activities.
Mr Caton said: "We have done everything from branding to the website. We have been integral to that festival and we are getting really good feedback for the work we have done."
