TWO men arrested after a 39-day hunt were tonight charged with murder.
Peter Leonard, 51, of no fixed address and Allan Palmer, 43, of Stockbrige Road, Padiham, were due to appear before Burnley magistrates tomorrow charged with murdering Alan Street, 26, of Oswaldtwistle.
Mr Street's body was found in a culvert in Accrington earlier this month. Police believe he was killed in December. Leonard and Palmer were arrested on Wednesday after attending police stations.
Two other suspects have also been charged with Mr Street's murder and have appeared in court.
