Tor View Community Special School is calling for applications for its latest teacher training programme from the most able graduates in the region.
The school, in Clod Lane, was awarded National Teaching School status after scoring a hat-trick of ‘outstanding’ Ofsted ratings.
The East Lancashire Inclusion Partnership School Direct programme allows top graduates, or those who have been pursuing a career, to combine teacher training with learning on the job.
Successful candidates train alongside experienced teachers in some of the best primary and special schools in the country.
Headteacher Angela Holdsworth said: “We are looking forward to receiving applications from those individuals with the potential to be brilliant teachers.
“We have placements available in mainstream primary schools in Rossendale and special schools in Lancashire.
“We ask that potential applicants contact us for more information, or attend our information event on Tuesday, June 10 starting at 2pm.”
