WINTER will be warmer for more than 70 people in the Bacup area who have collected Keeping Warm Packs.
Rossendale-based charity REAL has been distributing the packs, which are funded by the Department of Health.
The packs are free to the elderly and individuals who are in receipt of certain benefits or have a long-term illness.
Inside the pack is a thermometer, an insulated cup, hat and gloves, a wind up torch, wheat bag, fleece blanket, and a hot water bottle and cover.
Anyone who feels they may qualify should contact 0303 333111.
