Police issue CCTV image of Nelson 'kiss' assault suspect

The CCTV images of the suspect
POLICE have issued CCTV images of a suspect after a man tried to kiss a woman against her will in Nelson.
The incident happened in the subway near Hibson Road at around 2.30pm on Friday, November 2, when the 30-year-old victim was approached by a man who asked her for a cigarette.
The man then tried to kiss her twice against her will before walking off towards Nelson.
He is described as white, of medium build, about 5ft 5ins tall with blue eyes and short ginger hair.
He was wearing jeans and a blue Sergio Tacchini top with a light-coloured horizontal stripe across the chest area.
Sergeant Chris Valentine said: “This was a very unpleasant incident for the woman involved and I am keen to speak with the man on CCTV, if anybody recognises him I would ask them to come forward.”
