Funding boost for Rosegrove FC

A FOOTBALL team for children in Rosegrove has benefitted from a £100 gift.
The Rosegrove FC team was founded around 12 months ago and started offering a team for seven-year-olds but, after an overwhelming response, is set to start an under-six team soon.
Burnley Wood resident Michael Mobey saw an appeal for help by the team and put his hand in his pocket to help out.
He said: “The response the team had was unbelievable, but you can’t charge the children too much because they wouldn’t be able to afford to keep going.
"I was amazed at the work they were doing there so did what I could to help.”
