A NEIGHBOURHOOD policing team is celebrating after being given a new community base.
The Rosehill with Burnley Wood neighbourhood policing team, consisting of community beat manager PC John Fisher and police community support officers Cathy Clough and Bill Ogden, have now moved into the Children’s Centre in Brunswick Street, Burnley Wood.
PC Fisher said: “This is a welcome move for us.
“The Children’s Centre is a modern building in the heart of the local community which is accessible for residents to visit.
“This base allows the team to be out in the community rather than having to return to the police station to complete paperwork.”
