PC Alison Alexander has replaced PC Ian Thompson as community beat manager in Briercliffe.
PC Alexander, who has been a police officer for 17 years, has spent the vast majority of her service in the Burnley area, most recently as a member of the town’s Youth Offending Team.
She said: “Fortunately crime in Briercliffe is extremely low and working with residents I hope to keep it that way.”
