A SERIES of speakers and free workshops for artists looking to boost their careers will be put on next week.
Burnley Mechanics is hosting the 'Fire Up' sessions and include a range of experts from the art industries.
The initiative is funded by the Arts Council England, Creative Lancashire, the a-n The Artists Information Company and Burnley Leisure.
Rachel Hawthorn, arts engagement officer at Burnley Leisure, said: "This is a hugely impressive line-up of speakers and workshops.
"The workshops have been designed to help support those that are in their early or mid-career as artists or creatives, and the topics span a range of essential topics for anyone who is freelancing or running their own business.
"Burnley is buzzing with creativity and ambition, and these sessions are full of information, advice, support and creative ideas for everyone."
The first two of a series of workshops will be held on Wednesday, October 11, at Burnley Mechanics at 10am. and will cover topics on how to design a creative business and how to best promote it.
Other sessions will run until February 2018.
