A 32-YEAR-OLD woman went 'shopping' with a contactless debit card which had been stolen from a car parked outside the owner's home.
Blackburn magistrates heard Amanda Nerney claimed she had been given it by another woman who was using another card which had been stolen at the same time.
Nerney, of Scarlet Street, Burnley, pleaded guilty to fraud by false representation.
She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.
Parveen Akhtar, prosecuting, said the owner of the cards had received a text message from his bank at 4.25am asking if he was using his bank cards.
