PERFORMING arts and drama students worked with world-renowned experts at a national dance workshop.
The Burnley College sixth form students were one of nine classes in the UK chosen to take part in the Rambert at 90 project which celebrates 90 years of the company’s contributions to dance.
The world-famous Rambert is Britain’s oldest dance company.
A-level dance students are required to learn about the company and its work as part of the curriculum.
The dancers were taught advanced techniques by professional dancers who focused on dance in the 1960s and accessed footage on the work of choreographer Glen Tetley.
They also completed an infographic poster detailing the history of Rambert in the 1960s.
