Investigation launched after firefighters attend blaze at house
AN INVESTIGATION has been launched into a house fire in Burnley this morning.
Firefighters attended the blaze in Nairne Street at around 8.20am and were there for approximately 40 minutes.
The fire was in the upstairs bedroom of the empty terraced property and two crews from Burnley attended the scene.
A spokesman said: "Not much damage was caused, just in the bedroom to the floor, and nobody is currently living at the property.
"The cause of the fire is currently under investigation."
