A BURNLEY woman is now awaiting sentence after admitting to a £13,300 fraud on a number of furniture companies in and around East Lancashire.
Sarah Critchley, 34, pleaded guilty to defrauding UK Educational Furniture out of £7,487, when she appeared at the town’s crown court.
And she also admitted similar offences totalling £2,402 for GLS Educational Supplies, £2,100 for A White Room and £1,320 for a fourth firm.
Critchley, of Thurston Street, also pleaded guilty to possession of a stun gun, which was found by police officers at her home after a search.
Recorder Simon Medland QC remanded her on bail for pre-sentence reports until September 11.
