A TEENAGER is receiving hospital treatment after she was talked down from a motorway bridge ledge near Burnley by police on Sunday night.
Motorway officers closed a stretch of the M65 around junction 10, just after 9.45pm, after an 18-year-old was spotted, in an agitated state, sitting on the outside of the bridge.

Drivers were directed off the motorway around the junction as specialist officers were deployed to speak with the girl.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said that the girl was eventually persuaded to climb back over the fence.
She was later taken to hospital, it is believed for a mental health assessment, before the motorway was reopened around an hour later.
