A CLITHEROE family is appealing for people to pitch up and park so their daughter can continue to receive essential treatment.
Erin Bater, nine, has an undiagnosed condition which causes severe learning disability, global development delay and low muscle tone.
She receives specialist care at the Legacy Rainbow Trust in Omskirk but, because of a rise in demand for the charity’s expertise, additional funds are needed to ensure she can keep receiving treatment.
Erin’s family is holding a car boot sale in the car park of Shackleton’s Garden Centre, in Clitheroe Road, Chatburn, in a bid to raise the £3,000 for the specialist support she needs.
Cindy Bater, Erin’s mother, said: “We are overwhelmed with the amount of support we have received so far. All the funds raised make such a difference.”
The car boot sale will be on April 8 and prices are £10 per car or £15 if paid on the day.
