Detectives in Blackburn have arrested a 45-year old man in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old school boy in Blackburn's multi-storey car park in 1999.
The incident happened on Saturday 12 June that year when the boy was alone in Blackburn town centre.
At 7pm, the boy was approached by an Asian man who engaged him in conversation and led him to an adjacent car park. He was then indecently assaulted and raped.
A Blackburn man was arrested today in Blackburn and was being questioned by detectives.
