A DRIVER was taken to hospital after his construction vehicle overturned while transporting bricks.
The incident happened in Lawrence Street, Blackburn, at about 2pm yesterday and involved a vehicle called a telehandler, a JCB-type vehicle which has an extendable crane.
The road was closed for about a hour following the incident.
The driver, aged 35, was taken to hospital as a precaution.
