BLACKBURN with Darwen Council has confirmed its refusal of an advertisement expressing solidarity with Palestinians its digital billboard.
Human rights campaign Drive For Justice wanted to place the ad on the screen on Barbara Castle Way.
Borough chief executive Harry Catherall refused the request down on grounds of staying politically impartial.
The campaign appealed but borough legal director David Fairclough has confirmed the decision.
Drive For Justice spokesman Asif Mahmud said: "Your refusal will leave many of the residents feeling angry."
