FOOTSORE Ken Brogden has presented a cheque for £2,900 to the East Lancashire Hospice.
Mr Brogden, from Oswaldtwistle, organised a sponsored walk from Blackpool to Blackburn to pay tribute to the hospice's care for his late wife Michelle.
A team of 16 charity walkers set off from the Houndshill Shopping Centre in Blackpool and arrived at the Mall in Blackburn about 12 hours and 70,000 steps later.
Mr Brogden said: “Organising the walk and raising money for the hospice has allowed me to give something back.
“The blisters, sores and aching muscles were accompanied by lots of laughs.”
