A WOMAN was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital after she was cut from her car following a crash.
Police said emergency services were called to Shadsworth Road, Blackburn, at around 3.15pm yesterday to reports of the two vehicle crash.
It involved a red Honda Jazz and a red Audi car.

A female casualty in the Honda told paramedics she was suffering from headaches and back pain.
A fire crew from Blackburn fire station attended and cut through the top of the vehicle so the woman could be removed in a controlled and safe way.
She was then taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital by ambulance.
Police said her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The crash led to road congestion and delays for motorists on Shadsworth Road and Haslingden Road was also affected by tailbacks.
