TWO brothers who took part in an attack which left the victim needing hospital treatment have been sentenced to youth custody.

Yasar Latif, 19, and his 20-year-old brother Nasar, both of Wensley Road, Blackburn, admitted unlawful wounding and both were sentenced to six months at a young offenders' institution.

Yasar Latif got an extra two months for breaching an anti-social behaviour order.

Both pleaded guilty on the basis they did not know of the existence of a knuckle duster, but accepted it may have been used.
