A CONCERT held at King George's Hall in Blackburn helped to raise money for the Poppy-Mai fund.
The event was organised by Head of Music at Our Lady and St John Renia Przybysz.
Head teacher at Our Lady and St John, Patrick Murden, said: “Mrs Przybysz has a phenomenal flair for putting on major musical events and last night’s concert was no exception. Huge thanks go to her and all our feeder primary schools who took part in the evening.”
Sixteen-month-old Poppy-Mai Barnard is suffering from a rare type of cancer called Malignant Rhabdoid.
Her 13-year-old cousin, Cheyanne Barton, is a pupil at the school and a member of the choir.
