FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a house fire in Blackburn with fears that people were trapped inside a bedroom.
The incident happened at a house in Pink Place at around 11.40am this morning but when crews from Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn Stations arrived all occupants were outside and accounted for.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire, which was actually located in the conservatory.
The conservatory was completely destroyed and there was moderate smoke damage to the downstairs of the property.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
