Police issue alert after 'jogger' spotted on M65
POLICE were alerted to reports of someone jogging on the M65 on Saturday morning.
Motorway police were alerted to the runner at around 8.30am.

A patrol was sent and matrix signs were set to warn motorists of a pedestrian on the carriageway between junction 7 for Accrington and junction 8 for Huncoat.
A police spokesman, said: “A police vehicle took a run along the M65 but there was no sign of the runner at junction 7.”
