A TRULY collaborative effort over a number of years by residents, schoolchildren, a nearby church and local authorities has seen a former dumping ground transformed into a well-used community garden.
The garden is located close to Delph Lane on the Hillside estate in Blackburn.

Children from nearby St Antony’s Primary School were involved designing the garden and flower planting.
They were invited down at the end of term to see the finished results.
